Most of what I talk about today has to do with what lens you are looking through to get to where you want to go. I want to show you how the world gets you to look through an earthly perspective and not an eternal perspective. President Nelson has asked us to “Think Celestial”. I think these prophetic words can be applied to mental health as well.
For example, the world wants us to view self-confidence as the key to happiness, success and wellness. However, knowing what I know about psychology and the gospel this can be a waste of your time looking at it from an earthly perspective. I want to show you what is more worth your time from a gospel perspective.
